GSA Containers
Hamilton factory lead time is four to six weeks, all of our GSA containers are ready to be shipped.
At Safetrends we sell only refurbished GSA Containers that pass a rigorous inspection, by David Walz, a GSA Container Inspector, which includes photograph documentation before they are put up for sale. Most of the GSA containers are not re-painted; we only sell containers that have the original paint color inside and out. This provides the customer with a GSA container that is original which shows the actual product and not a miss-matched container. Some of the containers are not 100% perfect, they do show exterior paint that is damaged, however that does not distract from the number one issue, that they are GSA containers. All of the containers are dismantled and checked for problems, sanitized, lubed and adjusted to open and close properly. Surplus parts are used as per needed. Some containers have labels, stickers, or painted numbers on the drawer fronts and or container body's that need to be removed and re-painted. Some containers have been drilled and opened per 809a and it is stated on the documents and photographs provided with the container. All of the Containers have refurbished locks.
Please note; all of the containers that are for sale, have been inspected and worked on by a GSA Container Inspector, we do not allow anyone to work on a GSA container unless they are a GSA Container Inspector.

This is a Reference Guide on GSA Approved Security Containers, first edition. It has taken several years to develop and all of the photographs are taken by David Walz. David Walz is a field technician, not a writer, has a Bachelor of Science degree, a SAVTA member and works on GSA containers regularly. David has the desire to educate other safe technicians on servicing and repairing a GSA container. David has determined, after research on other articles, what would be the best layout for this manual. David Walz is a GSA Container Inspector, which has given him access to all types of GSA containers. David knows how important it is for a safe technician to have a good reference book when dealing with a safe problem. The layout in this reference guide is user friendly.
